Rockabilly City Century Set for April 22


JACKSON - This year, the Foundation has partnered with the Rockabilly City Century to host its annual ride beginning at 8 a.m. with same day registration beginning at 7 a.m. The ride begins at LIFT Wellness Center in downtown Jackson and takes participants out of the city and onto scenic roads throughout southwest Madison County. The ride features four different courses: a 25 mile, 42 mile, a metric century (62 miles) and a full century (100 miles). SAG stops will be provided along each of the routes. All ability levels are welcome to participate.

Participants may register online at Registration is $40. All pre-registered riders are guaranteed a t-shirt. Sponsorships are now available ranging $250-$2,500. All ride proceeds will go to support the services of Ayers Children's Medical Center.

West Tennessee Medical News extends its heart and prayers

to the family, friends and colleagues of Sonny Melton, a nurse in the Henry County Medical Center Emergency Department.

He died while protecting his wife Dr. Heather Gulish Melton an orthopedic surgeon who also worked at the medical center.

The couple had been married a little over a year.
