JACKSON - West Tennessee Medical Group recently welcomed Claude Pirtle, MD, internal medicine physician and Associate Chief Medical Information Officer.
Pirtle comes from Nashville, where he completed a clinical informatics fellowship at Vanderbilt University. He received his medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. In addition, he completed his Master of Science in Applied Clinical Informatics at Vanderbilt. Pirtle will work with physicians to improve their experience and efficiency with the electronic health record.
He is committed to providing comprehensive care for men and women. In addition to preventive medicine, Pirtle is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic health conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He offers annual exams, sick visits and health screenings.
